On July 15th 2012, Susane Johnson began a run from Sheet Harbour, Nova Scotia hoping to reach Vancouver British Columbia by November 23. She has undertaken this journey alone, in an effort to raise awareness and fundraise to stop violence against children. She runs with minimal possessions, relying on the kindness of who she meets. It consists of a trek of over 3000 miles across Canada in order to call attention to situations that plague our youth. I am excited to say in support of her efforts I will be meeting her in Vancouver for a few days during her journey. All monies raised from each province will be donated back to each province to help this cause.
