An unforgettable charity event in Los Angeles to help find families and permanent connection for children. Last year I enjoyed spending time with the Children of the Kidsave Organization.
I will be joining them for their 14th Annual Kidsave Miracles Gala Celebration held at The Conga Room at L.A. Live. The emcee for the Celebration is Christine Devine, a television news anchor/reporter/producer at KTTV Fox 11 News whose parents were also foster/adoptive parents. All event proceeds will support Kidsave’s programs, which help find families and long-term mentors for foster care children in the U.S. and orphaned children worldwide.
Their mission is that Kidsave works to create change so older forgotten orphanage and foster kids grow up in families and connected to caring adults. Established in 1999, Kidsave has helped over 12 governments and 3000 children. Their goal is to find families and find connections of 1 million children by the Year 2020. They are working with children from the United States, Russia, Columbia and now the Philippines.
